My Experience
Angelique started her singing career in the children’s choir “Jorai” in Voorthuizen. In 2005 she did an audition at the television program “Una voce particolare”, where the jury advised her to take singing lessons. From 2006 to 2012 she took singing lessons from Annemiek Maissan and from 2012 to 2016 she was coached by Hannie Slingerland.
In 2014 she participated in the RTL 4 program: “Het orkest van Nederland – op weg nar het Concertgebouw”, where she managed to reach the semi-finals. During the auditions that preceded the program, she was assessed by mezzo-soprano Tanja Kross, pianist Wibi Sourjadi, violinist Simone Lamsma, DJ Ronald Meulendijk and conductor Jan Willem de Vriend.
